K87900 Automatic Blending System for Octane and Cetane Reference Fuels
Test Method The quantitative determination of the knock rating of liquid spark-ignition engine fuel in terms of research and motor octane numbers or the rating of diesel fuel oil in terms of cetane number. Features and Benefits Conforms to ASTM D2699, D2700, and D613 specifications High blending accuracy and speed utilizing weight measurements rather than volume for reference fuel blending Standalone or group remote control operating mode Full remote management and data access
K87900 Automatic Blending System for Octane and Cetane Reference Fuels The new series automatic blending units automate the blending procedure for reference and check fuels used for octane and cetane number measurement according ASTM D2699, ASTM D2700 and ASTM D613. The instrument has been designed to operate either on a standalone mode with its own touch screen inbuilt computer and printer or on a remote control mode over the local area network. The Windows CE 3.0 based intranet technology software assures simple operation and platform independent remote management and data access. Strictly in accordance with the standards and good laboratory practices the instrument provides traceability of reference and check fuels made. The data is stored in an internal database and can be printed out as blend certificates or calibration certificates using the inbuilt ribbon printer or on a network printer. Due to the flexibility of the software the instrument can be used for any blending purpose where the accuracy and the speed of the blending procedure are critical Specifications Conforms to: ASTM D2699, D2700, D613 Blending Capacity: Up to 10 reference components Volume: 400 - 800 mL Accuracy: +/- 0.01 octane number or cetane number Speed: less then 4 minutes for a 400 ml blend Electrical Requirements 115V 50/60Hz 220-240V 50/60Hz
